The South Indian Filter Chicory Coffee is not only a drink, its happiness. Nick of Time offers Kaapi or traditional Madras Filter Coffee as enjoyed by generations of South Indians! Let’s have a Kaapi Break! Chicory coffee is a type of coffee made from the roasted root of the chicory plant and it is often mixed with regular coffee to create a unique flavor and aroma. It is said to have a nutty, earthy and slightly bitter taste, and is often used as a caffeine-free alternative to regular coffee. These beans are mixed with roasted chicory (15 to 45 percent) to create a fine blend for evolved taste and flavor. Suitable for all types of coffee maker, pour-over, stove-top, Indian drip filter, French press.

1. We are delighted to share Nick of Time’s freshly roasted Chicory Coffee which is a cultural icon in all the South Indian states of India. It is mostly used by people who want to reduce the caffeine intake.
2. “Indian filter coffee is a coffee drink made by mixing frothed and boiled milk with the infusion obtained by percolation brewing of finely ground coffee powder in a traditional Indian filter”.
